CUSTOMER TERMS & CONDITIONS

               The   Following Will Be Provided By The Owner / Builder/ Company At Their Cost:

  • Provide any cutouts to accommodate elevator equipment (troughing, venting, and hall fixtures) along with patching and painting of walls, floors, or partitions together with finish painting of entrance doors and frames, if required. if at all structure is to be provided a separate quote will be raised.
  • Provide sufficient onsite refuse containers for the proper disposal of elevator packaging material. Should sufficient refuse containers not be provided, disposal of packaging material shall become the responsibility of the owner. safe lockable room should be provided nearer to the shaft in the ground floor or basement.
  • Prior to the start of installation, provide a dry, properly framed, enclosed and vented hoist way in   accordance with all applicable codes.
  • One front entrance wall, at the main landing, is not to be constructed until after all elevator material is located in the hoist way. Remaining front entrance walls are not to be constructed until after door frames and sills are in place. If front walls are poured concrete weight bearing walls, rough openings are to be provided to accept entrance frames and filled in after frames are set. Rough opening sizes per Power layouts. Prior to the elevator(s) being turned over, all entrance walls must be installed and rough openings filled in complete to maintain fire rated hoist way requirements.
  • Storage of materials, tools and clothing in a suitably locked (space at ground floor)dry, Ventilated and illuminated storage space protected from theft and damage, suitable accommodation, water& sanitary facilities should be provided.
  • Provide hoist way walls designed and constructed in accordance with the required fire rating (including those places where elevator fixture boxes and rail bracket fastenings penetrate into the hoist way walls).
  • Inspection fees of the lift by the Lift inspector or Electrical Inspector or any other fees charges by the surveyor or corporation or municipality or other Government agencies.
  • Wiring of main and earth wires from the source of supply to the machine room terminating in a TPIC switch fuse.
  • Provide power supply in the lift machine rooms during the installations and for permanent operation of elevators electric supply of 415v 50Hz 3Phase and 240v 50Hz 1Phase terminating in a suitable main switches for power and lighting circuits with necessary breakers accessories like MCB’S,RCCB’S suitable earthling leads and other protective devices necessary to meet legal code requirements.
  • Suitable lighting of the shaft way and machine room, exhaust fan, rubber mat, fire extinguisher and First aid box to be provided, unloading of material should be done in a safety room with lock facility.
  • Provide 120 volt, 20 ampere power for light, tools, hoist, etc. to the hoist way during installation. Source must be within 75 feet of the hoist way, an metal door to be provided to machine room.
  • Provide one (1) dedicated outside telephone line per elevator car to the elevator machine room / space(s), and terminated at the controller designated by the power construction superintendent., all subsequent works/ wiring and including supply and installation of telephones, speakers etc., will have to be carried out by other contractors.
You agree to indemnify and save Power elevator harmless against any and all liability and costs arising out of your failure to carry out any of the foregoing requirements.
